E223 IT for Supply Chain Management

This module examines the strategic use of information technology to enhance efficiency and performance across Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes.

Students will learn to assess business needs, analyse data, define supply chain requirements, manage IT-driven projects, and design digital solutions aligned with current industry practices. The module emphasises the development of competencies needed to transform supply chains in an increasingly AI-enabled and Industry 5.0-driven business environment.

Students will also explore technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and sustainable IT solutions to enable smarter, more resource-efficient operations. By the end of this module, they will gain the ability to apply IT tools and strategies within technology-enabled, sustainable supply chain environments.
