E254 Electronic Devices and Circuits
This module covers the theory and practical knowledge of electronic devices such as diodes, Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT), various types of Field Effect Transistors (FET), and their applications in electrical and electronic circuits.
It also focuses on the fundamentals of operational amplifiers and their applications. Students will develop essential hands-on skills in circuit prototyping, troubleshooting and testing in practical laboratory sessions. The curriculum is designed to include extensive use of circuit simulation software tools, which will help reinforce the knowledge of circuit theories learnt in lessons.
