E327 Human Factors Engineering

This module enables students to appreciate the significance of product design, user interface design, job and workspace design based on human factors principles.

Students will evaluate current designs and understand how these designs can be enhanced to improve workplace safety, comfort and productivity. This module aims to provide an understanding of the concepts behind the theories and practical applications of basic sensory systems, cognition, control, work physiology, environmental stressors, anthropometry, workspace designs and human errors.
