This module provides students with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects effectively.
It introduces key concepts in project initiation, scope definition, scheduling, cost estimation, budgeting, and resource management. Aligned with “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), the module emphasises risk management, quality assurance, and leadership as critical components of successful project delivery.
It prepares students for the globally recognised Project Management Institute® Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification. Through applied case studies, students develop problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills, alongside teamwork, communication, and conflict management abilities essential for leading projects and achieving organisational objectives in diverse professional environments.
