G121 Innovation and Practice
In today’s rapidly changing world, innovation is crucial for organisations and individuals to thrive.
This module builds creative confidence and mindsets for team collaboration and impactful change. Students will engage in innovation activities to understand, create, and test ideas, focusing on viable, feasible, and desirable solutions. Through a team-based project, they will conduct real-world user research and explore various scales of innovation, including business models, experiences, services, and products. Students will also learn about innovation habits, team roles, divergent and convergent thinking, idea generation, prototyping, and pitching. In the process, they will develop practical skills for crafting solutions and proposals to address an innovation challenge.
