This foundational module equips students with a basic understanding of the hotel and leisure industry.

Students will acquire a broad overview of the structure and concepts related to the various segments within the hotel and leisure industry, incorporating adjacent segments of the accommodation sector which will include resorts, cruise, air and rail travel. They will also learn the impact of changing consumer trends and lifestyles, with the rise of the Bleisure Traveller and blurring of lines between business and leisure travel. Student will also gain insights to innovative and sustainable practices within the hotel and leisure industry.
