H105 Events and Project Management

Events are delivered through effective project management, requiring structured planning, stakeholder collaboration, and sound operational execution. This module provides students with a strong foundation in the principles and practices of event and project management.

Students will explore project lifecycles, budgeting, risk management, scheduling, and communication, while applying these concepts to the planning and delivery of small- to medium-scale events and curated experiences. Through practical activities and industry-based case studies, they will develop the skills to manage projects systematically, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver successful events.

By integrating project management principles with event planning, this module prepares students to manage events effectively and establishes a foundation for more advanced event management studies.
