This module builds on students’ foundational hospitality knowledge, deepening their understanding of business operations and guest experience through authentic scenarios that identify service gaps in an evolving industry landscape.
It enhances students’ ability to interpret customer feedback and operational data to analyse and diagnose service challenges affecting guest satisfaction. Students learn to design service improvement solutions that balance stakeholder expectations, evaluate financial and non-financial outcomes, and address gaps in guest experience and satisfaction.
