This module will provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the resorts component of the hospitality industry.

Students will gain an appreciation of key operational, strategic, and customer-centric aspects essential for effective management. The curriculum will cover the fundamental principles of resort operations, encompassing guest services, facilities management, revenue generation, and marketing strategies.  Emphasis will be placed on sustainable practices, exploring eco-friendly initiatives, resource management, and responsible tourism, aligning with global sustainability goals. An integral component of the module is the study of integrated resorts, examining their unique blend of accommodation, entertainment, dining, and leisure facilities.
