This module integrates the disciplines of conference and exhibition management to provide a comprehensive understanding of planning and delivering large-scale business events.
In the evolving events landscape, students explore how conferences and exhibitions increasingly intersect, forming integrated ‘confex’ experiences that combine strategic, operational, and creative elements. Students develop the skills to plan, coordinate, and execute multifaceted business events that enhance engagement and deliver impact.
The module covers key aspects of business event management, including conferences, trade fairs, and consumer exhibitions. Students examine how such events foster networking, professional learning, and economic growth within the global marketplace. Through practical learning and case studies, students build the capabilities to manage integrated conference–exhibition events and deliver seamless experiences that meet industry standards and stakeholder expectations.
