H337 Conference and Exhibition Management
This module equips students with the knowledge and skills to develop strategic business event concepts that address industry and destination needs. Students will explore Singapore's business events ecosystem, identify market opportunities, analyse industry trends, and develop business cases that create value for stakeholders.
The module examines the strategic role of conferences, exhibitions, and live experiences in driving business growth, tourism development, destination branding, and economic impact, while supporting national initiatives.
Students will also explore emerging trends such as festivalisation, hybrid events, technology-enabled engagement, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making to enhance event competitiveness. Through industry case studies and applied projects, they will develop competencies in business development, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, sales pitching, and event concept design, preparing them for careers across the business events ecosystem.
