The live entertainment industry continues to evolve as advances in technology, changing audience expectations, and new forms of content consumption reshape how live experiences are created and delivered.
This module equips students with the fundamental principles and practices of live entertainment and special event management. Students will explore audience engagement, production planning, emerging event technologies, financial management, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver successful live experiences.
Through authentic industry scenarios and applied learning, students will examine the ethical, social, and sustainability considerations that shape contemporary event practice. They will also evaluate how digital innovation and immersive technologies enhance audience experiences and event outcomes. By integrating theory with practical application, this module prepares students to design, manage, and evaluate live entertainment events that are creative, operationally sound, and socially responsible.
