M202 Basic Media Writing
This module introduces students to the fundamentals of media writing and develops their ability to research, structure, and communicate information effectively across multiple platforms.
With expansion of media and information channels, students acquire industry-relevant skills in information research, content organisation, and writing for diverse audiences. Students learn interviewing and questioning techniques, and apply professional style guides to produce clear, engaging, and ethical media content. Students also begin developing a portfolio that showcases writing across print, broadcast, and digital media platforms.
