S215 Sports and Exercise Nutrition
This module provides students with an overview of the principles and practices involved in the evolving field of sports and exercise nutrition.
Gain a practical overview of nutrition for sport, exercise, nutrition analysis with considerations for hydration, supplementation and anti-doping, and nutritional strategies for different sports and contexts (special dietary needs, and travel). Students will recommend pre-, during-, and post-training/competition meals to fuel performance whilst enhancing recovery and be introduced to basic body composition analysis to support safe weight management.
