This module examines the business aspects of the sporting industry in Singapore and globally.
Students will examine the positioning of the sports business and the challenges and opportunities the industry faces in the global world. Topics include analysis of the monetisation of sports, marketing and sponsorship, media, tourism and athlete endorsements. By the end of the module, students would gain knowledge in understanding how the sports business contributes to the development of the sports industry.
