S224 Sports and Leisure Related Law
The module introduces the role of law in the development and regulation of the sports industry in Singapore and major sporting nations.
Students will also gain knowledge on the legal issues surrounding the formation of contracts, dispute resolution, protection of intellectual property rights, employment law and minimising liability from negligence in sporting activities, as well as policies regulating doping in sports. By the end of the module, students will gain an understanding of the application of legal principles in the sports industry.
