S238 Instruction and Facilitation in Experiential Education

This module introduces theories, concepts, and approaches of pedagogy, instruction, and facilitation in experiential learning settings.

Topics include instructional techniques, facilitation processes and strategies as well as creative reviewing methods. There will be the application of prior knowledge in outdoor pursuits. The emphasis is on acquiring skills to competently plan and instruct entry-level skills in outdoor pursuits, as well as to plan and facilitate experiences to meet learning outcomes.
