S261 Introduction to Sport Coaching

Students will explore factors influencing coaching practices, including motivation, communication, learning styles, and the creation of safe, inclusive sporting environments. Through applied coaching frameworks, students will learn to design, deliver, evaluate, and refine practice sessions that promote positive values, ethical conduct, and holistic athlete growth. The module prepares students to adopt evidence-informed approaches to coaching across various sports and age groups.
