The module is an introduction to sports performance analysis and provides students with a foundational understanding of the fundamental concepts, techniques, and applications of sports performance analytics.
The introduction of the use of technology to capture data allows students to experience various contexts that could be used to facilitate performance enhancement. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical assignments, students will gain insights into how data-driven analysis enhances athletic performance, informs coaching session planning, and contributes to the overall development of athletes.
