S334 Supervision and Management of Outdoor Programmes
This module introduces theories and strategies to engage, supervise and manage participants of varied skills, abilities and motivations in outdoor learning and outdoor recreational programmes.
Topics include games leadership, inclusive outdoor programming, supervision strategies, and strategies to manage behavioural issues. There will be application of prior knowledge in adventure education, instruction and facilitation. The emphasis is for students to implement outdoor programmes effectively, bringing about safe and meaningful educational and recreational experiences.
