This module equips students with the skills for healthcare operation management with a focus on the Community Care settings.
They will delve into topics such as resource and capacity management, healthcare information systems, process and workflow improvement, service requirements, and work safety and health. This module also explores the role of volunteers in the sector and a management framework for effective recruiting, training, engaging and retaining volunteers. At the end of this module, students will be able to apply these principles to enhance operational efficiency, support high-quality care services, and manage volunteer programs effectively in Community Care settings.
