T194 Design Research for UX

This module introduces students to the various tools and techniques used to conduct research in the user experience design field.

Students learn how to plan, execute and analyse user research studies which guide the development of user experience design solutions, such as products, spaces and user interfaces. In addition, students learn about different research methods, data analysis techniques, and data representation formats. They also learn to accurately express insights about users’ needs, wants and pain points. By the end of the module, students will understand how design research contributes to the development of user experience designs.
