T235 Production Stage Management
This module provides an overview of the leadership and practical technical theatre competencies required to manage events.
Students gain insights into the roles of production and stage managers in coordinating the creative and production departments towards realising a common artistic vision. This module equips students with production and stage management skills, including preparing rehearsal and performance spaces, analysing scenic plans and generating production documentation. Students also cultivate effective communication techniques necessary to ensure an efficient, safe, and economical production process.
By the end of this module, students will have developed leadership, management and collaborative skills required to coordinate small-scale events.
