T260 Design for Interactive Media

This module trains students to design and develop content for interactive media.

Students learn the essential elements and principles of design and are guided to create and frame content for digital and social media platforms. Students also acquire and practise design skills and methods to convert informational material, such as text and static images, into dynamic and engaging content for current devices and platforms. In addition, students learn to produce dynamic layouts incorporating images, video, sound, and interactive elements according to industry standards, ethics and workflows. By the end of the module, students will have developed the ability to refine content by leveraging design concepts and the critique process to enhance a given layout.
