T329 Theatre Production Practicum
Students will be equipped with the essential tools and theoretical concepts needed to stage a production.
In this module, they will apply and develop their knowledge by engaging in the planning, design, and execution of a small-scale theatre production, presented to a ‘live’ audience. Through authentic industry experience, students will gain a broad range of competencies from conceptualisation to practical design and realisation of a theatrical production. They will effectively address challenges and conduct a thorough and comprehensive evaluation of the production. Additionally, students will collaborate and apply skills and knowledge acquired from related modules, including script analysis, production design, lighting, stagecraft, and stage/production management.
