T376 Experience Design Futures
This module equips students with the knowledge and skills to design future-oriented experiences that extend beyond digital interfaces into physical objects, spaces, and interactive systems.
By analysing emerging technologies, trends and signals, students will learn to create meaningful designs while considering ethical, social, and technological implications. Using speculative design and futures-thinking approaches, they will also challenge assumptions, explore alternative futures, and develop innovative experience concepts.
Through a combination of theoretical inquiry, field studies, and hands-on project work, students will apply foresight methods, design fiction, prototyping, and evaluation techniques to create, test, and communicate future experience proposals that inspire discussion and innovation.
