T377 Usability Evaluation
This module equips students with a working knowledge of key usability evaluation and testing methods used in industry practice.
It develops their understanding of the distinction between usability and user experience and why this distinction is critical to designing effective, engaging, and immersive experiences.
Students will learn to assess and communicate the severity and impact of usability issues to different stakeholders, strengthening their ability to support design decisions with evidence and creativity. Through hands-on exercises, they will identify and apply appropriate usability methods across different stages of the design cycle, using relevant quantitative and qualitative metrics to evaluate and improve user experiences.
