T383 User Interface Design
This module introduces students to industry-recognised User Interface (UI) design principles, enabling them to create intuitive, innovative, and effective interfaces across various interactive platforms, including mobile applications and websites.
Students will explore key concepts such as the Gestalt principles, card sorting, search patterns, and design patterns, and learn how these inform well-structured interface design. Emphasis is placed on wayfinding, navigation, and clear documentation of the design process to support a cohesive and immersive user experience. Through applied projects, students will also develop the ability to creatively design and refine user interfaces for real-world scenarios, such as online forms and booking systems.
