Technology overview
Solar reflective paints are widely used on exterior walls to reduce the interior temperature of buildings, save energy costs, and decrease the carbon footprint. However, dirt accumulation reduces their efficiency and lifespan. To address this issue, a novel functional additive has been developed. The dirt pick-up resistance (DPUR) improves when the resulting additive is incorporated into a paint post-production.
