Applying for a course is simple! Follow these steps to kickstart your learning journey:

Once you’ve found the right course, click the Apply button to begin your application. If the Apply button is not visible, it means applications are currently closed. You can still click the Register Interest button to leave your details, and we’ll notify you when the next application window opens.Complete the application form

Applying for full qualifications? Here’s what you need to know:
Our Part-Time Diplomas, Specialist Diplomas, and Modular Courses typically commence in April, June, and October. Please check the respective course webpage for the latest details, including application opening and closing dates.
If you’re applying for a full qualification programme (e.g., a Work-Study Programme, Part-Time Diploma, or Specialist Diploma), take note of the following:
Documents required for application
Before starting your online application, prepare scanned copies of the following documents for submission:
Highest Education Certificate and Academic Transcripts
Second Highest Education Certificate and Academic Transcripts (if applicable)
Curriculum Vitae/Resume, detailing your employment history, job titles, and job descriptions
NS Exemption Letter / Supporting Document (for applicants serving National Service, if applicable)
Conditional offer for Specialist and Part-Time Diploma Programmes
If you are a graduating student in the current academic year, you may apply using your latest results. Eligible applicants may receive a Conditional Offer, which will be confirmed upon submission of proof of completion of their studies at a Polytechnic or the Institute of Technical Education (ITE).
Who is eligible?
Students graduating from local Polytechnics or ITEs in the current academic year but have not yet received their official certificates.
How does it work?
Submit a Letter of Certification (or equivalent) issued by your institution as proof that you are in your final semester of studies.
If eligible, you will receive a Conditional Offer, pending submission of final results.
Applicants with a Conditional Offer must submit proof of completion via the STEP student portal.
Once the admission criteria are met, an Official Offer Letter will be issued.
If the criteria are not met, the Conditional Offer will be revoked.
Applicants will be notified via email on how to submit final documents (results or Letter of Certification for completion).
Application outcome
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements may be considered for admission to the course based on supporting evidence of competency readiness. Suitable applicants who are shortlisted will have to go through an interview and/or an entrance test.
All applicants will be notified via email of the application outcome.
Module Exemption & Credit Transfer
If you wish to apply for Module Exemption or Module Credit & Grade Transfer, submit your request via the STEP student portal under the "Request & Task" menu.
All applications are subject to approval and must be submitted before course commencement.
After you apply
You will be informed of your application status latest by two weeks before the course start date.
Some applicants may be required to take an entrance test or attend an interview.
Successful applicants will receive an email with enrolment and course fee payment instructions.
