This two‑day hands‑on workshop introduces participants to Agentic AI and its practical application in transforming business processes.

This two‑day hands‑on workshop introduces participants to Agentic AI and its practical application in transforming business processes. Participants progress through three levels of Agentic AI maturity - Retrieval Agents, Task Agents, and AI‑powered applications with agentic behaviour - using a structured Agentic AI Framework for Business Processes.
Day 1 focuses on foundational concepts, prompting techniques, and hands‑on development of Retrieval and Task Agents, enabling participants to ground AI outputs and automate structured workflows. Day 2 advances into AI‑powered applications, where agentic principles such as goal orientation, reasoning, and task coordination are implemented within application‑based workflows and user interfaces.
The workshop emphasizes practical, tool‑agnostic design principles, extensive hands‑on exercises, and responsible adoption. By the end of the course, participants will have designed and developed an Agentic AI process or application that can be reused in their workplace or personal workflows.
Course objectives
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Explain the fundamentals and architectural concepts of Agentic AI, including autonomy, goal orientation, reasoning, and environment interaction.
Identify and map business processes suitable for Agentic AI transformation using a structured framework.
Apply the Agentic AI Framework for Business Processes to define agent roles, objectives, context, tasks, escalation logic, and outputs.
Design and implement Retrieval Agents (RAG) to ground AI outputs using documents and trusted data sources.
Develop Task Agents to automate multi‑step digital tasks and workflows across tools and applications.
Design AI‑powered applications that implement agentic behaviour, using platforms such as Claude and Google AI Studio.
Evaluate Agentic AI tools and platforms, focusing on transferable design principles rather than vendor‑specific features.
Discuss ethical, security, and governance considerations relevant to deploying Agentic AI solutions in organizational settings.
