Course objectives

This hands-on course empowers participants to leverage digital technologies to enhance workplace productivity and streamline business processes through intelligent automation. Through practical training in UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and introductory Power Apps, learners will acquire the skills to design, develop, and manage automation solutions that address real-world business needs.

The course also introduces AI-driven workflows, interactive dashboarding, and Lean principles for process improvement. Each module is structured around real-world problem statements, challenging participants to apply the tools and techniques covered to develop effective digital solutions.

Participants will be well-prepared for roles such as RPA Developer, Business Process Analyst, and Digital Transformation Manager. This SCTP is also highly relevant for professionals across various functions - such as HR, Finance, and Operations-and industry sectors including, but not limited to, Supply Chain, Logistics, Telecommunications, and Banking.

Prerequisites

• Strong interest in digital transformation

• Prior experience in any programming language is preferred

• Personal Laptop

Course description

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

• Apply Lean thinking to identify automation opportunities and optimize business processes.

• Use simulation modelling to analyze processes before and after digital transformation.

• Understand the fundamentals of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) as well as Workflow Automation and their role in digital transformation across industries.

• Design, build, and deploy automation workflows using UiPath Studio, Studio Web, and Microsoft Power Automate (Desktop and Cloud Flows).

• Explore UiPath’s Agentic AI and Maestro platforms.

• Integrate AI capabilities into workflows using Power Automate’s AI Builder.

• Create interactive Power BI dashboards for effective business data visualization.

• Understand and apply Power Apps to develop simple, user-friendly business applications.
