About course
Course description
Looking for a way to take your Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills up a notch?
This course will introduce participants to advanced knowledge on three-dimensional (3D) modelling, sculpting, and simulation. Participants will also get the chance to validate their CAD skills by sitting for the Autodesk Certified User (ACU) exam.
Participants are strongly encouraged to complete [RP-BCAD] Beginner Computer-Aided Design Course (opens in new tab) before attending this course to ensure they possess the necessary foundational knowledge and skills.

This course will be using the Autodesk Fusion CAD software.
Republic Polytechnic (RP) is an Autodesk Authorized Training Centre and Autodesk Learning Partner.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded an official Certificate of Completion issued by Autodesk.
Course objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
• Describe the parametric CAD workflow
• Demonstrate ability in advanced 3D modelling such as shell, revolve, sweep, loft, and pattern
• Experiment with sculpting or freeform modelling to create organic 3D shapes
• Apply CAD simulation such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to a 3D model
