Graduates have the opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths with logistics service providers, product owners, manufacturers, and other industries that require supply chain and logistics expertise. Additionally, they may be eligible for up to 20 Credit Units of exemptions in part-time Bachelor of Science programs in Logistics at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), depending on their course results and university approval.
Course objectives
This course provides participants with specialised knowledge and skills in logistics and supply chain management. Key focus areas include warehouse and inventory management, transportation operations, lean processes, cold chain management, and procurement.
Participants will also gain valuable skills in data analytics, data visualisation, and sustainability, along with insights into how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping supply chain operations. Practical, hands-on training with advanced tools like TradeNet, Warehouse Management System (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), cold chain technology, and RFID ensures you are job-ready for this fast-growing industry.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
Manage inventory, enhance supply chain processes, and utilise information technologies in the supply chain.
Plan and execute integrated supply chain strategies, with expertise in specialised areas like pharmaceutical, bio-chemical, and cold chain logistics.

Transportation Management and Operations | This module aims to provide an understanding of the concepts behind the practical and theoretical applications of transportation management and operations in the local context, and the efficient management of industrial and transport logistics. |
Freight Services and Operations | This module aims to build students’ knowledge on various aspects of international freight services through a structured, consultative and interactive learning process using relevant case studies from the industry. |
Inventory Management | This module covers the basic principles of inventory management and aims to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of inventory control techniques, practices, and technologies commonly adopted in the industry. |
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) | This module aims to build on participants’ knowledge of ERP fundamentals by providing an overview of the ERP system as well as system navigation. |
Warehouse Management and Operations | This module covers the principles of warehouse operations and their importance in supply chain management. |
Pharmaceutical and Cold Chain Management | Through this module, participants will be introduced to Cold Chain management and Pharmaceutical/Dangerous Goods (DG) supply chain management. |

Project | Participants will undertake an individual project to apply what they have learnt and deepen their understanding of the supply chain management-related topics of interest. |
Entry requirements
WSP Eligibility
Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents who are:
within three years of graduation from the Polytechnics or the Operational Ready Date (ORD) for full-time National Servicemen, or
within five years of graduation from the Polytechnics, and if their employer is a participating company.
Course Entry Requirement
Applicants should preferably be a graduate of a feeder programme as listed here.
Admission will be reviewed and approved by the polytechnic on a case-by-case basis.
