Starting Your UA Experience
Are you looking to fly your own UA or drone, and not too sure where to start? Our courses below will provide you with a good understanding and skills that cover: fundamental knowledge of operating a UA, flight techniques, and the prevailing CAAS regulations governing UA operations within Singapore. These two courses enable you to confidently operate a UA or drone for recreational and educational purposes.
Introduction to Drones (Duration: 2 days)
Jumpstart into the world of unmanned aircraft (UA) with this two-day introductory course. Apart from exploring the recreational and commercial aspects of UA in various sectors, you will be equipped with the fundamental knowledge to operate UA effectively. This course also covers modules on general UA knowledge, air law as well as safety and operations.
Unmanned Aircraft (UA) Applications in Singapore (Duration: 2 hours)
This free two-hour course will show you how UA technology is being used globally and in Singapore. You will also be introduced to the regulations governing UA operations.
Obtaining Your Class A Rotorcraft Pilot License
Are you planning to obtain your Class A Rotorcraft Unmanned Aircraft Pilot License (UAPL)? The courses below will help you to obtain your initial, remove restrictions or renew your Class A Rotorcraft UAPL.
Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) Theory Course (Duration: 2 days)
This two-day course is designed to prepare you for the CAAS UAPL Theory Test — a requirement when applying for your UA Pilot Licence.
Class A Rotorcraft Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) for Helicopter (Practical Training with Assessment) (Duration: 3 days)
This course prepares existing holders of a Class A (Rotorcraft) UAPL limited to multi-rotor only, to safely operate a helicopter UA and to remove the multi-rotor limitation from their UAPL.
Class A Unmanned Aircraft Pilot Licence (UAPL) for Helicopter (Refresher Training with Assessment) (Duration: 1 day)

If you are planning to operate a multi-rotor UA between 7kg and 25kg, this course is for you. Get up to two practical assessment attempts with our Authorised Flight Examiners to obtain your UA Pilot Licence.

You will learn about photogrammetry workflow, planning and execution of autonomous UA flights to generate 2D and 3D maps using Pix4DMapper software.
