12 RP teams participated in the Green Bootcamp @ North West 2025, with two Diploma in Environmental & Marine Science teams emerging as first- and third-place winners among 25 competing teams.
RP students demonstrated their passion for sustainability and innovation at Green Bootcamp @ North West 2025, jointly organised by the North West Community Development Council and RP.
The event brought together 25 teams and 98 participants to tackle environmental challenges through recycling and upcycling solutions. Representing RP, 12 teams participated, with seven progressing to the Top 10. Two teams from the Diploma in Environmental & Marine Science emerged among the winners, securing first and third place.
The winning projects showcased creative approaches to waste reduction, including a café concept centred on repairing and repurposing textile waste, and a sustainable composite material created from wood waste and resin.
The achievement reflects RP's commitment to developing environmentally conscious graduates equipped with the knowledge and creativity to transform sustainability challenges into practical solutions.
