RP's annual dance festival returns from 15 May to 6 June, bringing together dance groups from RP and other schools and institutions across Singapore for performances, workshops and student-choreographed showcases.

Momentum is RP's annual dance festival that celebrates original choreography, creative exploration and diverse dance genres.

Taking place from 15 May to 6 June 2026, Momentum brings together the best of the dance groups from RP, as well as local schools and institutions of higher learning across Singapore. Through performances and workshops, the festival invites audiences to experience how different styles, traditions and perspectives come alive on one stage.

This year's theme, The Anatomy of ROJAK, draws inspiration from the familiar local dish, a mix of distinct flavours that come together to create something richer as a whole. Through movement, Momentum explores identity, connection and how communities come together while staying true to who they are.

Here are some highlights you can look forward to:

  • The main showcase, The Anatomy of ROJAK, features a contemporary dance showcase bringing together talents from RP and external dance groups.

  • Workshops and masterclasses that you can join to develop your dance skills through sessions conducted by experienced trainers.
