In honour of Mental Health Awareness Month, RP welcomed students back from the long vacation with a lineup of wellness activities, from crafting grounding squishies to cat therapy sessions.

RP hosted October Wellness 2025, featuring a range of activities designed to help students reset and recharge as they returned for the new semester.
From crafting personalised grounding squishies with Insight Community Counselling Services to scoring blind boxes from Beyond the Label, students had plenty of engaging activities to help them destress and discover the strength needed for the semester ahead.
The excitement continued with students expressing themselves at Talk Talk Sing Song, held in conjunction with the Reflections Arts Festival, and the highly popular cat therapy sessions, creating the perfect environment for students to unwind.
"The cats reminded me that it's perfectly fine to spend some time alone when I need it," shares Nicole Chua from the School of Business (SBZ). "They really helped to take away my stressful thoughts because they were so cute and peaceful."
Shannon Oh from the School of Hospitality (SOH) appreciated the thoughtfulness behind these initiatives. "These initiatives are meaningful because they show how much RP cares about their students," she reflects. "Beyond wanting us to excel in our studies, the school also ensures that we are mentally well."
The wellness activities aim to nurture a supportive community where every student feels appreciated and heard, reinforcing the importance of mental health alongside academic success.
