RP staff visited the CR202 Biodiversity Training Centre to learn how Singapore is balancing infrastructure development with environmental stewardship through ecological studies, biodiversity monitoring and wildlife mitigation measures.

RP staff participated in a learning journey to the CR202 Biodiversity Training Centre, gaining firsthand insights into how infrastructure development can be balanced with environmental stewardship.
The visit provided an in-depth look at the extensive ecological studies conducted for the Cross Island Line Phase 2 project, including biodiversity monitoring and mitigation measures such as canopy rope bridges and wildlife crossings. Participants also learnt about the importance of environmental impact assessments and evidence-based planning in protecting Singapore's natural habitats.
