RP students and alumni honoured at Singapore Sports School Awards Night

Current students and alumni from the RP-SSP joint programme were recognised for their achievements on national and international stages at the Singapore Sports School Awards Night, with recipients spanning disciplines from fencing to track and field.

RP Principal & CEO, Ms Jeanne Liew, joined partners at the Singapore Sports School Awards Night to honour outstanding current students and alumni from the RP-SSP joint programme, recognised for their achievements on national and international stages.
The event was graced by Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth.
Among those recognised were Ayden Seah Z-We (Shooting) and Gwen Koh En Qi (Taekwondo), recipients of the Edusave Character Award.
The Outstanding Sports Achievement Award was presented to Filzah Hidayah Nor Anuar, Azfar Luqman Ong and Bron Sheum Han Shen (Fencing); Clarence Chew Zhe Yu (Table Tennis); Veronica Shanti Pereira (Track & Field); Yvette Chong Ann (Artistic Swimming); Derek Chan Wen Kai and Goh Wen Zhe (Water Polo); and Jowen Lim Si Wei (Wushu).
Spanning both current students and alumni, their journeys are marked by quiet determination and an unwavering drive to keep pushing forward. Their stories reflect the commitment to developing character alongside performance, where ambition is matched with values.
As the only polytechnic with a dedicated School of Sports and Health, RP remains committed to supporting holistic development across learning, life and future aspirations, nurturing generations of sporting talent who continue to inspire Singapore and beyond.
