Written by Haresh Sharma, Ah Boy and the Beanstalk is a whimsical adaptation of the classic fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” set in contemporary Singapore. The story follows Ah Boy who received magical beans and planted them. Upon ascending the gigantic beanstalk that grew from the magical beans, Ah Boy encountered larger-than-life characters that represent different aspects of the Singaporean society. Through these encounters, he learns the importance of co-existing with others and embracing diversity.
