Capoeira

If you’re looking to explore a unique mix of movement, music and martial arts, RP Capoeira is the only Capoeira group among the five polytechnics in Singapore. Formed in 2009, the group trains under Mestre Claudinho and performs regularly at campus events like Jam & Hop, Open House, and Reflections Arts Festival, as well as external events such as the National Day Parade, WorldSkills Singapore, and Esplanade’s In Youthful Company series. As a member, you’ll get to choreograph and perform pieces that blend Capoeira with contemporary dance, while learning about discipline, expression, and teamwork through performance.
