Handball

Republic Handball (RPHB) was formed out of a shared passion and commitment to the sport. Handball is a fast-paced contact sport played between two teams of seven: a goalkeeper, centre, pivot, two backs, and two wings. It combines elements of basketball, soccer, and netball, and is typically played on an indoor court about the size of three basketball courts.

RPHB Men’s and Women’s teams actively compete in annual tournaments such as the Polytechnic-ITE (POL-ITE) Games, Institutes of Higher Learning (IHL) Invitational Games, and Handball Federation Singapore-organised competitions, where we have achieved podium finishes regularly.
