The Overseas Industry Immersion Programme (OIIP) offers you the chance to gain new perspectives and enhance your skills through internships with Singapore-based companies, multinational corporations, and startups worldwide. These 20 to 24-week internships allow you to broaden your global perspective in your field of study, setting you up for success in your future profession.

Where do I start?

As a Year 3 student, you can explore overseas internship opportunities through the RP Internship Placement System. You can filter opportunities based on your preferred locations for the upcoming semester. If you’d like more guidance, feel free to discuss your options with your Programme Chair or Internship Coordinator.

What support can I get?

RP collaborates with Enterprise Singapore through the Global Ready Talent Programme (GRT) to support overseas internships. This programme helps Singaporeans and Permanent Residents by providing financial assistance for daily living expenses while interning abroad. RP students have interned in countries like China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, with some also choosing internships in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
