You’ll rotate through roles like camera operator, sound and lighting tech, floor manager, and eventually work your way up to director and producer. It’s a hands-on way to explore your strengths, build teamwork skills, and bring your ideas to life on screen.

This flexible workshop is where you’ll begin developing costume and prop prototypes, working with craft materials and practical tools to support your ideas. The Black Box is where your creative work meets a real audience. With flexible staging and lighting setups, you can transform the space for theatre performances, talks, or film screenings. It seats up to 120 people and is fully equipped with professional gear—so you get a true taste of what it’s like to plan, produce, and perform in a professional venue.

In the Set Construction Studio, you won’t just learn how things work—you’ll make them work. This versatile space blends classroom learning with hands-on practice, giving you the tools and setup to explore rigging, staging, and electrical work safely. You’ll also get to test and refine your own sets and props, gaining practical experience for production work in the real world.
Prototype, print and bring your ideas into 3D reality

Explore how rapid prototyping can accelerate your design thinking. The UX Studio is fully equipped with 3D printers, scanners, and modelling tools that help you quickly turn your ideas into working models. You’ll learn to prototype, test, and iterate in a hands-on environment designed for innovation and experimentation.
