EAE Portfolio Tips
A standout portfolio can set you apart. Discover what makes a winning EAE portfolio and how to present your passion, skills and achievements with impact.

Build a portfolio that stands out
Your portfolio is your chance to show the admissions panel who you are beyond your grades, your drive, your achievements and your potential. Here's how to put together one that stands out.
Achievements and awards
Start by gathering all your certificates and transcripts, including your latest exam results and CCA records.
Competed in a national competition? Led a project that won recognition? Include every relevant award that demonstrates your strengths.
Don't limit yourself to academics. Achievements from your CCAs, hobbies and voluntary work all count.
Relevant experience
Showcase experiences that connect directly to your chosen course. Whether you were a Band Major in your school's marching band or Head of Social Media for Student Council, leadership roles tell a compelling story.
Built an online business on Carousell or developed your own mobile app? These are exactly the kind of initiatives that set you apart.
Back up your experience with evidence. Photos, videos and demos of your work give the admissions panel something tangible to remember you by.
Community involvement
Share how you've contributed through your Values in Action (VIA) projects. What did you set out to do, and what difference did you make?
Don't just tell us, show us. Include proposals, photos and videos that bring your contributions to life.
Interests and personal pursuits
Hobbies and personal interests related to your chosen course are fair game. Passion outside the classroom counts.
Participated in Applied Learning Modules (ApLMs) at any polytechnic? Include what you learnt and how it has shaped your direction.
Applying for a creative course? Showcase artwork, design work, or photography that reflects your eye and craft.
Passionate about food and culinary arts? Share an original recipe, food preparation tips, or your participation in cooking competitions and community events.
Letter of recommendation
If you include a letter of recommendation, make sure it adds value to your portfolio. Ask a teacher or CCA advisor who knows your work well and share specific examples you would like them to highlight, such as a project you led, how you worked with others, or how you showed commitment over time.
Micro-learning courses
Explore short courses that align with your interests to build relevant skills and strengthen your EAE portfolio. Taking the initiative to learn shows passion and drive!
