Curious about how journalists report the news in today’s fast-changing world? In this beginner-friendly 3-day Applied Learning Module (ApLM), you’ll learn how to create a simple news package while developing cultural awareness and responsibility in reporting.

Through hands-on practice, you’ll explore the role of communication in cross-cultural contexts, and understand how miscommunication and bias can lead to misunderstanding or conflict.

What you’ll learn:

  • Understand the impact of discrimination, prejudice, and cultural insensitivity in the media.

  • Learn how to communicate with empathy and clarity across different audiences and communities.
