Ever wondered how your favourite gadgets are designed? In this beginner-friendly 3-day Applied Learning Module (ApLM), you’ll step into the role of a product designer and bring your ideas to life through hands-on sketching and prototyping.

You’ll explore the principles of User Experience (UX) Design and ergonomics as you design and build your very own gaming mouse — and present your prototype to gather feedback like real designers do.

What you’ll learn:

  • Apply the design process to develop a physical prototype of a consumer electronic product.

  • Build a basic prototype using ergonomic principles and user feedback.

  • Present your design ideas clearly and confidently to gather insights for improvement.
