Settling into polytechnic life takes time. That's why you'll be connected to mentors who will help you transition into RP's educational environment.

Why Pastoral Care?

We recognise that students learn at different rates and that there are many factors affecting individual achievement. With a personal mentor, you will always have access to a listening ear and a guide to ensure your physical and mental well-being.

Mentorship also supports your personal growth and academic journey, offering a safe space to pursue your passions and aspirations.

Comprising one-to-one as well as group discussions, the holistic and personalised pastoral care programme is designed to help you grow and thrive.

Mentor dashboards track your care journey, offering a more systematic overview of your progress. This enables mentors to offer more targeted care by quickly identifying issues, as well as opportunitites for potential growth.
