SAS Club

SAS Club runs several activities aiming to nurture leadership qualities in you and to promote the fun in Science. The two major events you can look forward to lead are the Freshmen Orientation Programme as well as SAS Freshmen Camp where you can exercise your leadership qualities and welcome new freshmen into RP at the same time. Other than the two, you will also be engaged as part of the organising committee organising other fun filled activities such as the Science Lab Experiment as well as Mathematics & Science Pursuit.

SAS Club Members are encouraged to always give their best in every endeavour. We want you to lead by example and show how science can be applied to everyday life and how captivating it can really be!

SEG Club

There are five exciting Interest Groups (IGs) under the club: Aviators, Electronics, Institution of Engineers Singapore, Logistics Supply Chain Management Student Chapter and Makers. 

Through the wide range of activities offered by these IGs and the club, you will be able to explore the different aspects of engineering. Some of the signature events include SEG Games Day, Halloween Bonding Night, Student Leadership Camp and Freshmen Pre-Orientation Camp which are full of fun and excitement.

SHL Club

SHL Club

The SHL Club is at the heart of all student-related activities and events. The club is composed from a diverse mix of sports enthusiasts, health advocates and outdoor adventure junkies. Together with members of the club, you will learn critical life skills such as teamwork and communication while upholding the REPUBLIC Code of Honour – Respect, Excellence, Passion, Unity, Belief, Leadership, Integrity and Compassion.

Our in-house activities such as the SHL Challenge Shield, Cycle Safe Trainer certification, Student Leaders Trainer Camp, and various workshops aim to provide you with opportunities to form friendships across disciplines, and be equipped with knowledge outside of the classroom.

Our collaborations with external agencies are also very well received and they will continue to provide you with opportunities to involve yourself with the ins and outs of event organisation in “real-world” conditions.

SMC Club

SMC Club

SMC Club enables you to build and develop your skills as a business and communication professional. Given the right opportunities and guidance, we will assist to unleash your potential and push you to reaching greater heights. As a step to hone your leadership skills, you will be given real-world opportunities to learn through taking lead in organising key projects, events, talks, and also a chance to network with some of SMC’s industry partners.

The School of Hospitality (SOH) Club aims to develop student leaders beyond academic excellence through various platforms including involvement in Open House, Orientation Programme, Welcome Camp, Local and International Service Learning Project and many others. As an SOH student, you’ll automatically be a member of our Club.

The Club comprises of 5 departments namely:

  • Events
  • Outreach & Alumni Relations
  • Publicity & Publications
  • Training & Development
  • Peer Support Leader

The Club is managed by the President and Vice President and they’re assisted by the Honorary Secretary, Student Mentors from graduating classes as well as Directors and Deputy Directors from various departments. Peer Support Leaders form the largest group of EXCO and is an integral part of the Club.

SOI Club

As a member of the SOI club, plenty of meaningful and fun-filled activities await you! These activities range from camps, to workshops to community involvements as well.

You will be able to participate in many industry seminars, talks and competitions which will allow you to learn of the latest trends and share these information with your peers. We also don’t just get involved in all the hardware and software of technology but conduct regular sessions to play sports and have loads of fun!

Our long-term vision and goal is for our SOI friends to use this platform to expand their social network, build leadership qualities amongst members and to continually serve the people from the people. 

STA Club

STA Club

The STA club are a joyful bunch of student ambassadors from the School of Technology for the Arts (STA). As a member, you will serve as a key function in the organising and management of various school and poly-wide events. Our aim is to develop and elevate your creative knowledge as well as leadership skills.

You will be expected to know how to have FUN and get CRAZY! The club meets bimonthly to spend time together to strengthen the bonds of friendship and unity. If you love to lead, organise and manage events all while having a good time, then this could be your calling.

So join us and be part of our family! 

Vision: To be the students ambassadors of STA; committed to developing lifelong friendships among students and contribute to a vibrant polytechnic life.

Mission: As student leaders, we nurture our leadership abilities through the organising of events as a means to build comradery among students and to represent STA as the creative school of RP.
